The highly hilarious and award-winning show, ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’ is making its way back to Curve from the 6th to the 11th of October during it’s massive UK tour.

In Nicholas Hynter’s incredible production written by Richard Bean, the story follows Francis Henshall who becomes a minder to Roscoe Crabbe after Francis was fired from his skiffle band. But little to his knowledge, Roscoe is actually a lady named Rachel who is pretending to be her own dead brother – who happened to be killed by her boyfriend, Stanley Stubbers. After grasping onto an opportunity to get dinner on the tabs, Francis takes a job with the murdering boyfriend Stanley, but he has to do one thing to make it without being discovered: he has to keep his two guvnors apart from each other. Sounds simple… Right?

The show, which is based on Carlo Goldoni’s Italian classic comedy, ‘The Servant of Two Masters’ includes Gavin Spokes (who also appeared in the West End production of the ‘One Man, Two Guvnors‘) as Francis, Norman Pace (from comedy duo Hale and Pace), Emma Barton (from Eastenders), Alicia Davies, Patrick Warner and many more, with songs by Grant Olding being performed by The Craze.

‘One Man, Two Guvnors’, which has now been seen by over 1 million people, has been hailed as ‘the funniest show on the planet‘ by The Daily Mail and as a ‘comic classic’ by The Guardian. That basically means that you HAVE to go and check it out while it is here! If you’re as interested as we are at Tea Break, then you don’t want to miss your chance.
