– Bram Stoker, Dracula

Leicester’s Curve Theatre has something tasty to sink your teeth into this Halloween, with the arrival of the thrilling dance production of Bram Stoker’s Dracula!

Returning to our stage after high public demand, Mark Bruce’s critically acclaimed dance troop promise to send shivers down audience’s spines as they bring to life this haunting and erotic tale of the blood-thirsty undead. At the dark heart of this Gothic drama, the talented Jonathon Goddard will be playing the infamous Vampire Count, whose chalk-white skin, demonic eyes and pointed canines struck fear into the hearts of many in the Victorian society. Whilst his victims and opponents attempt to defeat the blood-sucking monster, they must also face the darkness and the savagery within themselves.

Combing classic composers from Bach to Mozart, to the contemporary music of György Ligeti who fittingly descends from Transylvania, Bruce and his troop will be showcasing a truly awe-inspiring variety of dance choreography, which previously won them the prestigious South Bank Sky Award for Dance. After an overwhelmingly successful past year of performances, this UK tour of Dracula has now been extended to a wider set of venues, and is once again proving highly popular.

This chilling performance will be at Curve from 21st-22nd of October, with tickets starting from £12.50. Head to the website,, or call the ticket office, 0116 242 3595, to bag your tickets!
