‘FOREVER ENDS HERE’ REVIEW

Forever Ends Here are a pop punk band hailing from Sydney, Australia. I first heard of them as a result of seeing a handful of people I follow on Twitter posting to, and about, the band and recently even iTunes recommended I give them a listen.

The song I downloaded first was Oceans Away. It was a great way of introducing me to the bands punchy riffs that remind me of songs I listened to in high school, and lead singer Luke McChesney’s vocals give the impression that he’s been in the business longer than the seventeen years he’s been alive. After a few listens I felt the same sense of excitement I had way back when I first listened to Baltimore Pop Rockers, All Time Low. They share the same spirit of high energy and edgy licks of sound, along with lyrics that submerge you into the waves of the song as it builds.

The band, comprised of brothers Luke (vocals/guitar) and Kane (drums) McChesney alongside Maverick Burnett (bass) and Jackson Lehane (guitar) are flying the flag for Australia’s growing pop punk scene. Since they began making music in 2011 they’ve embarked on several tours and will soon be headlining this year’s Bondi Blitz festival in their hometown this April.
