‘LOVE, ROSIE’ REVIEW
Okay, I know I might be a little late to this party, the movie came out last year and I didn’t get a chance to see it but I had been looking forward to this movie for absolute ages. Not because I had read the book, (“Where Rainbows End” by Cecilia Ahern, which I have since purchased and cant wait to read!) but because of the trailer which you can and should watch here…
Love, Rosie is romance story about two best friends who have known each other their whole lives and are totally soul mates. The only problem is neither of them have the courage, or the right moment, to tell each other.
The characters Rosie and Alex are played by Lily Collins and Sam Clafin, you might know him as Finnick Odair in the Hunger Games and if you don’t you’re missing out on some serious eye candy! The chemistry between these two is amazing, and I felt they managed to pull off the romance to comedy ratio perfectly.
With that said, it is pretty much your predictable will they, won’t they love story and without saying too much, we all know how it goes. But hey, who doesn’t love a good old British teenage romcom and there are a few unexpected moments that I found hilarious!
I was surprised to see quite a few negative reviews online about Love, Rosie because I’m giving this film a solid 7/10; it had me laughing and crying and believing that anything is possible again!
