Sue Townsend’s best seller, ‘The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 ¾‘ is coming to a stage near you! With book and lyrics by Jake Brunger, music and lyrics by Pippa Cleary and directed by Luke Sheppard, this new musical will open on the 17th March and run until 4th April.
Set in 1980’s Leicester we follow Adrian as he deals with the daily dramas and tribulations of being an adolescent. From dysfunctional parents, school bullies and the eruption of a spot on his chin, life is hard for a misunderstood intellectual of only 13 ¾. To make matters worse, new girl Pandora steals his heart followed closely by Adrian’s best friend Nigel stealing her away.
